Concerts 2015

Enjoy Music Together

Dear friends of the Cäcilienchor,

just a few weeks ago we performed Mendelssohn's "Paulus" at the hr broadcasting hall, and now you can already see this year's program from the Cäcilienchor in front of you. In 2015 we pay our choir's classical repertoire a visit: the grand oratories and passions by Bach and Händel. We will also sing Rossini's „Petite Messe solennelle“ as well as – in the context of the museum concerts – the „Resurrection Symphony“ by Gustav Mahler.

Our christmas program will be supplemented for the first time by a family concert. Here the children will be able to experience what so many friends of clasical music find so fascinating about Bach's Christmas Oratory.

We are proud to present you this diverse program and are looking forward to your visit at one of our concerts.

Best regards
Thomas Hohmann
Chairman of the board
